It may look like a humble eatery but it’s recent inclusion in the Good Food Guide sets it apart from the competition, with delicious and locally-sourced food, all coked from scratch in their tiny but creative kitchen.

Brunch dishes run the gamut from lighter dishes – the nostalgic eggs & soldiers, wild mushrooms on toast and a smoky tempeh sandwich are just a few of the bites available – to hefty grilled cheese sandwiches, chorizo Iberico on Haxby bread and heaped veggie, vegan and meaty breakfast plates.

They look far afield for inspiration too, with exotic tastes like a Middle Eastern shakshuka, Mexican Eggs with fresh salsa, avocado, sour cream and lime, along with melt-in-your-mouth French toast for those with a sweet tooth.

They also have a range of cakes and breakfasts for meat-free and gluten-free diners.
