The King’s Arms in Woodstock is a welcoming family pub, led by Head Chef Chris Johnson and his modern British cuisine.

Sundays are a big event at The King’s Arms Get two courses for £22 or 3 courses for £27 and tuck into a lavish banquet, perfect for nattering over with friends and family. Crafting traditional British cuisine out of local produce, the team here whip up a confit rabbit terrine and a Sipsmith gin-cured mackerel with gooseberry chutney to a gold standard. Follow it up with a sirloin of beef, ½ Norfolk chicken or for the more adventurous, a seared pigeon breast with beetroot puree.
Veggies need not worry as their roast squash, pine nut and spinach Wellington is packed full of flavour and finesse. Puddings include a chocolate brownie, apple strudel and a classic panna cotta with plum compote.
