The Seven Hotel is a brand new luxury boutique hotel set in the heart of Southend-on-Sea. Its restaurant, Aurum, offers great breakfasts from 7:00am to 11:00am and traditional Sunday Lunch from 12:00pm to 6:45pm.
Our Sunday menu offers a great selection of traditional dishes for our guests. Sunday roasts are on offer as well as classic dishes such as fish and chips and our own signature burger. Our Himalayan salt-aged Glenarm Shorthorn steaks are cooked over a Mibrasa charcoal grill and the fish and shellfish are local and fresh. The hotel has recently been entered into the Michelin Guide 2019.
Aurum restaurant was designed by award-winning designer Adam Tibbatts. The interior design for this hotel is classic and timeless with a contemporary edge. The colour palette is inspired by the tones found in the spectacular views over the sea. Seafoam greens with beachy sandy tones. Iridescent metallic materials teamed with natural earthy textures create a unique combination. The restaurant seats up to 70 guests, including booths and an outside sun terrace for bar snacks and cocktails.
The Seven Hotel and Aurum are set against the stunning panoramic background of the Thames Estuary, including views of the famous Southend Pier. We are situated at the end of a quiet terrace but are close to both the train stations and Southend Airport making travel accessible.
