Food is soggy with gravy more weak than beef broth, fatty Turkey, lack of vegetable top-ups and undercooked cauliflower cheese, The Yorkshire puddings were flat and had no doughy consistency -just pure crunch unless drowned in the disgrace that is called gravy- Needless to say things have definitely gone downhill since the previous manager (Richard) left. 100% disappointment..

It seemed like they were very short staffed, only seeing 2 floor staff and 1 front of house who was also on the floor, but they seemed used to it. Food was nice, but did order something that didnt come, although wasn't charged for it, so didnt mind. Puddings were classically microwaved so burning hot on the outside and tepid on the inside, although were still really nice.

After a long day of sightseeing, we booked a table at the Toby carvery in Amesbury. The eight of us arrived hot, tired and ravenously hungry. From the lovely young lady who booked us in, to the lady who brought us drinks and the young man who served us from the carvery counter, the staff were lovely and pleasant. The absolute star of the place was our wonderful server Baily. Baily was so warm and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. We left very satisfied with our meals and the excellent service. Thank you so much Baily for being the absolutely lovely and joyful ray of sunshine you are, you put a smile on all our faces. I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough. So if you're in Salisbury to see the sights, give this little gem of a Toby carvery a try, five stars all the way .
