This was our first ever Christmas lunch at a restaurant after 40 years of having lunch at home and I can definitely say that we'll come again. The atmosphere was great, very festive and the staff were friendly and very helpful. The starters were all really tasty and beautifully presented, the roast dinner was superb, each meat was perfectly cooked, juicy and tender and great portions too. The desserts were delicious and we all left completely full and totally satisfied.

We were staying at the Travelodge next door. So used this place as it was so close. The place was busy. But we had booked a table in advance and shown to our table. We ordered drinks which took an absolute age to arrive. I ask the manager if she could get the dirty plates a glasses moved from the dumb waiters that held the condiments. She didn’t see a problem with them being left there only 3 feet from where we were sitting. Not a great sight while your eating. The food was plentiful, but dry bland and tasteless in my opinion. However! We felt sorry for the waitress who did her very best to keep us happy. She was covering the whole section on her own.The management kept a very low profile and staff members still continued to pile dirty plates next to us as seen in photos. Next time we will book a premiere Inn.
