Start your day with Breakfast and Brunch at Browns. Choose from a range of classics, such as the Traditional Breakfast or Eggs Benedict, alongside exciting dishes such as Browns Lobster Benedict.

For more of a celebration, indulge in a Bottomless Brunch complete with a Brunch dish and free flowing drinks, including Champagne, Aperol Spritz, Bellini, Prosecco and Bloody Mary.

Every Sunday, traditional Sunday Roasts are served. Freshly carved, and served with all the trimmings, choose from favourites including Browns famous roast beef with giant Yorkshire puddings, slow-cooked salted pork belly, a decadent sharing Sunday Chateaubriand, vegan root vegetable, nut & cranberry roast, and even little roasts for the kids.

Centrally located for Oxford’s iconic local attractions and university buildings, Browns Oxford is also rather famous, featuring in the celebrated novel “Restless” by William Boyd.

    A Wonderful Family Dining Experience at Browns We visited Browns for a late afternoon family dinner, and it was an experience we won’t forget anytime soon. From the moment we walked in, the service was spot-on—we were greeted warmly and seated right away. Our waiter, Alex, was exceptional. He struck the perfect balance between professional and personable, offering thoughtful suggestions for our little one (who was more interested in throwing things than eating!) and making us feel completely at ease. His attentiveness really elevated the whole experience. As for the food—absolutely fantastic! From starters to dessert, every dish was delicious and beautifully presented. My only regret? Not ordering the full lobster for my main—it looked and tasted amazing! If you’re looking for a refined yet welcoming dining spot with top-notch service and food, I’d definitely recommend Browns. A lovely experience all around!

    We had a wonderful dinner at Brown's in Oxford. From start to finish, the experience was truly enjoyable. The food was excellent. Full of flavour and beautifully presented. There was a great variety of dishes to choose from, all delicious. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and helpful. We left feeling very satisfied and would happily return!

    I had my birthday lunch here with my family, including grandchildren. We had a great time, the food was excellent & we had delicious cocktails AND a plate with Happy Birthday was brought to the table with a profiterole, strawberry & cream which was such lovely surprise.. All of the staff were very friendly & professional. I had fish pie & my only complaint is that there was fish skin in the pie which I don't like but it was nevertheless was one of the best I've had. Other people had Shepherd's Pie, Hamburger, Pumpkin Ravioli, Portobello Mushroom & Halloumi Burger. All a great success.
