We caught up with Keith Newton about launching new website, Bruncher, that helps you find the best breakfast, brunch and Sunday Lunch spots across the Country.

Tell us a bit about you and your background?
My background was in I.T. with a large government department, until my website AfternoonTea.co.uk really took off and I made the decision to set up on my own. We now have a team of 10 people working on AfternoonTea.co.uk and Bruncher.com

For anyone that doesn’t know, what is Bruncher?
Bruncher is a ‘one stop shop’ website for finding the best places to go for breakfast, brunch and Sunday lunch across the UK. Whether it’s a luxury Brunch with bottomless Belinnis at a 5 star hotel, smashed avocado on toast at a trendy cafe, a good old fashioned ‘full English’, or traditional Sunday roast at a gastropub, we’ve assembled the finest offerings from all over the UK. There will be lots of news, reviews, events and exclusive offers and it’s designed with mobiles in mind, so you can find a place nearby wherever you are.

What made you start Bruncher?
We’ve had great success with AfternoonTea.co.uk and wanted to use our existing knowledge and relationships to do something similar for Breakfast, Brunch and Sunday lunch.

What is your favourite Brunch spot?
I love The Cookery School in Cambridge. It’s a hidden gem, away from the city centre, but worth the effort.

What is your favourite Sunday Lunch spot?
I had a lovely Sunday Roast at the new Hawksmoor in Edinburgh recently. Great value for money and the restaurant looks fantastic – it’s situated inside the banking hall of the former Royal Bank of Scotland headquarters.

Ideal breakfast in bed?
Boiled egg and soldiers every time.

When do you launch?
We launched on 1st September 2018, to coincide with the London Brunch Fest. We had a successful launch weekend with hundreds of sign-ups. We are also giving away prizes like bottomless Champagne Brunch at Asia De Cuba throughout the month of September to those that subscribe.

How can people find out more about you?
