The White Bear

The White Bear Outdoor Area

The whimsical beer garden at The White Bear is a firm favourite amongst locals, thanks to the canopy of trees and a rustic aesthetic that allows you to feel all peaceful and relaxed, even though you're in the heart of Central London. Who'd have thought this was possible?

Proudly sat on the bank of the Thames, Nine Elms Tavern has idyllic riverside terrace views that can also be enjoyed inside thanks to its floor to ceiling windows, so you're even safe if the British summer turns into its unpredictable best. The industrial vibes and reclaimed furniture provide a casual touch to a spot that is popular with the more dressier after-work crowd.

Located in Islington, this little number has long been a destination for pub-goers thanks to its giant beer garden and famed history as being one of the locations George Orwell wrote part of his famous novel, 1984. Why not see if you can become similarly inspired with a pint in the sun?

This beer garden is a little more unconventional than the norm, with stripy coloured booths lining the garden, paying homage to booths found in the circus.  In the evenings, Aeronaut often plays host to live performers and acrobatics as the disco descends, so expect the beer garden to be alive with buzz at night.
