Prima in Newcastle is rustic yet suave Italian restaurant whose indulgent Bottomless Brunch and Sunday Lunch feasts draw in huge crowds.
Indulge in some people watching from the comfort of Prima’s outdoor patio, which overlooks one of Newcastle’s busiest squares. Inside is a cool, cavernous space split over three levels with exposed bricks and low lighting.
Sunday Lunches at Prima are an extravagant affair for bargain prices. 3 courses are just £16.95 and include starters like crispy squid, caprese salad and more, followed by your choice of beef brisket, skin on roast chicken and belly pork with all the trimmings. To finish, desserts like baked vanilla cheesecake and homemade chocolate brownie are decadent treats. There’s also a separate children’s menu, perfect for bringing the whole family along to.
Bottomless Brunch is available seven days a week at just £25 Sunday – Friday and £30 on Saturdays. This will get you a platter of charcuterie to start – think cured meats like mortadelia, salami and parma ham, along with olives, bread, olive oil and pate – followed by your choice of main. These include authentic hand-stretched pizzas and heaped bowls of homemade pasta, not to mention unlimited prosecco to accompany the food.
