First of all, we went in, sat down, offered the menu. We did ask about if the traditional afternoon tea has the tea or coffee included. They checked and said yes, but didn’t explain what sort of coffee or tea they offer… a bit meh Got asked about if we have allergy 4 times in a row in the window of 10 mins, I guess it’s like a ‘triple confirm’ situation… Food was okay. Sandwiches are a bit dry and blend…(would have expected better quality)… scones were lovely. Desserts were okay. good size… nothing special. They did come and checked about if we needed extra coffee/drink every 10 mins, that might seem to be a bit too much or overwhelming… For the price point, I will definitely go to a different hotel for afternoon tea in Manchester! Or even Richmond tea room :)

I have just visited here with family, for afternoon tea. I booked this for my mum, sister and 9 year old niece, as part of their Christmas present. We were primarily served by a fabulous Bulgarian waiter called Ivaylo. He was lovely and nothing was too much trouble. He deserves a pay rise! We will definitely be booking again.
