Brunch on the best of everything at Mackie Mayor- the food hall set in the Grade II listed building that was once Smithfield's Market.

Situated on the fringe of Manchester's edgy Northern Quarter, Mackie Mayor is suitably industrial. Blending the original Victorian features of the building with stripped back interiors, this food market is a sight to behold as the city's best food traders are all gathered under one glass roof.

Dine in a piece of Manchester's history- built in 1858, Mackie Mayor was part of the seven acre Smithfield Market complex that was the largest fresh produce market in Victorian Europe. These days, it's part of the NQ's thriving food scene and can host up to 500 people.. The vibe is casual yet lively- grab a seat on on of the rows of long communual tables or head to the upstairs mezzanine area to wtach the hustle and bustle from above.

From steak at Tender Cow, roast eggs at Huevos Rotos and a selection of sumptuous cakes from Wolfhouse Kitchen, Mackie Mayor supplies Brunch with a twist and is perfect for indecisive groups. The best bit is there is no finishing time for these Brunch dishes, so you could happily have it for supper! And with a fully licensed bar, we say why not?
