The Koffee Pot has been an institution in the Manchester Breakfast scene for over a decade and has been known to serve up one of the city’s best fry ups.

One would be forgiven for writing off this no-frills greasy spoon café with little concern. But, this would most definitely be a big mistake. The Koffee Pot sits on Oldham Street in a large, brightly lit spot with American diner-esque red pleather booths along the sides and graffiti mural on the walls. The food is pleasanntly affordable and the fully licensed bar is open from 7.30am- meaning Bloody Mary's, Mimosas  and Picklebacks are on the cards.

Their Full English, described as ‘nothing short of legendary’, comes in Irish, Scottish, veggie and vegan variations too. If you were fancying something a bit different to the British classic, however, then treat yourself to smoked kippers or a shakshouka for a fancier flourish.
