King Street Townhouse, a ‘baby grand’ hotel in the hustle and bustle of Manchester’s city centre, houses a boutique tavern with a cracking Breakfast and Brunch.
The imposing Italian renaissance building has been a mainstay of the area since 1872 and boasts an all-day dining bar, south-facing terrace views and a wine cellar with an extensive international collection. The Tavern itself is a joy to behold, with artefacts and trinkets on every available space, though it doesn’t look remotely cluttered. More like it has been designed by an eccentric uncle with an eye for design.
Brunches include all the classic dishes like Eggs Benedict, artisan sourdough toast and many small plates designed for sharing. Bring the whole gang and tuck in!
Upgrade to Bottomless Brunch and enjoy unlimited Champagne, Bellinis or Mimosas, plus 2 courses of Brunch, for just £40. Beginning with a light and refreshing bite of granola with yoghurt, choose from stacked American pancakes, sweetcorn fritters, Eggs Benedict and more to follow.
