A go-to for the local neighbourhood and tourists, Evelyn’s is an easy-going local restaurant serving an indulgent Sunday roast and Brunch classics inspired by Middle Eastern and Pan-asian favourites.

Evelyn’s is a bright and polished space with touches of greenery from ceiling to floor and an open kitchen for visitors to see into, giving off a more mature vibe than usually expected of a venue in the Northern Quarter.

And this theme is carried through into their menu. This urban oasis restaurant and bar serves up a Brunch menu to die for including detox health shots and granola bowls as well as duck hash and steak & eggs for anyone feeling a little more indulgent.

Got a sweet tooth? Try their Madame Toast - french toasted brioche topped with blueberries, crunchy golden honeycomb, whipped mascarpone and masple syrup - or their Brown Butter Waffle topped with brulee banana, chocolate cremeaux, toasted hazelnuts and maple syrup.

Please note Brunch is available for walk-ins only.

Their Sunday Roasts are worth a mention too, with generous helpings of rich gravy, seasonal vegetables and a Yorkshire pudding. Choose from perfectly cooked beef sirloin, roast chicken cooked in a harissa buttermilk, lamb cooked in Moroccan marinade, spiced puy lentil wellington or hispi cabbage. The Sunday roast menu is available from 12 noon until late.

Favourite place to eat in Manchester! I come here a lot already for both brunch and dinner occasions, so it was my natural first choice when looking for a spot for 15 of us to dine at for our special occasion. As usual, both the food and the service were absolutely exceptional: FOOD We had the group dining menu with a selection of dips and (to die for) homemade pittas to start, then a variety of small plates to follow. For small plates, the portion sizes were great and we were absolutely stuffed by the end - notable faves were the babaghanoush, the skate, the hispi cabbage, and the chocolate dessert drizzled with olive oil. We also had a member of our group with coeliac disease, so we were delighted to find out almost every item on the menu was gluten free or had a gf alternative. SERVICE Leading up to the booking Ines and Callum were fantastic at communicating with us and answering any questions we had about the dinner. On the night we were served by Kai and Tom who went above and beyond to ensure we had a gorgeous evening. The team were so accommodating including total clarity and care around our dietary requirements and allergen flags, taking care of details to simplify payment for such a large group, and all round bringing warmth and friendliness to make our night so special. Also a special kudos to the chefs and bar staff making such incredible food and delicious cocktails/mocktails. We can't thank you all enough. We couldn't fault it, and are so grateful for the team for all of the effort and care to ensure we had the best time. We'll definitely be back asap!

The food was absolutely delicious! We ordered the Madam Toast, Mushroom Toast, Avocado Toast, Egg Royale, and Turkish Eggs — everything was spot on. The service was excellent, and Mae was especially kind and attentive. The manager (wish we’d gotten his name) had a great attitude and made us feel very welcome. My dad is a tough critic when it comes to food, so the fact that he enjoyed it means it was genuinely great. Thank you — we’ll definitely be back! 😊

Lovely little place! Nice decor, tasty food and very knowledgeable staff who were very helpful and attentive; offering to notify the chef to modify dishes for my nut allergy. Also whoever picks the music needs a pay rise because the tunes were on point! Whilst we were there a patron walked in stating that during their visit a few days ago they had forgotten to pay and came back to do so; that should tell you how good the food is here. Not cheap by any means but definitely worth the splurge.
