From the cocktails down to the Brunch, the Japanese influence at Cottonopolis is unmistakeable. Set in the thriving Northern Quarter, Cottonopolis often hosts late-night local music events.
The restaurant, named after Manchester’s iconic past in the cotton trade, offers Bottomless Brunch on weekends where the food takes inspiration from Japanese cuisine. A Wagyu brisket crumpet topped with poached eggs smothered in onion ponzu and sake mustard sauce is just one of the many delectable Asian-inspired Brunch options available.
For Brunch purists, more traditional dishes are on the menu, such as the ever classic avocado toast with poached eggs. Make the difficult choice between bottomless Bellini’s, Bloody Mary’s, Mimosa's or Prosecco to accompany your favourite dishes!
Cottonopolis have also crafted up their own unique Sunday Roast menu with a Japanese twist. Using only the best Japanese cuts from the menu options include roasted wagyu beef rump, kurobuta pork loin with crackling, karaage fried chicken or vegan shiitake mushroom, pumpkin & sesame puff.
Cottonopolis uses the Grade II listed building's raw and industrial aesthetics to add a vintage touch to the space. Many of the building's original features have been preserved and are offset by the copper and deep blue decor- the perfect backdrop for many events. Keen to celebrate Machester, Cottonpolis often houses local live acts and events such as the Easter Sunday Help the Homeless DJ set by Tim Burgess.
