Decadence is best epitomised by unlimited sushi and free-flowing Champagne, something Yashin Ocean House celebrate with each and every weekend.
Despite the cosmopolitan surroundings of South Kensington, Yashin Ocean House feels like quite respite from the hustle and bustle, helped by the traditional Japanese music and sparse but comfortable furnishings.
Yashin draw from the ocean to base their menu entirey around fresh seafood, promoting head-to-tail cooking and local producers in the process. Led by Head Chefs Yasuhiro Mineno (of Nobu fame) and Shinya Ikeda, their Weekend Brunch points to the Edo period with its simple but effective techniques and championing of the fish.
Brunch consists of buffet-style sushi, sashimi and other delicacies, along with your choice of main - menus change with the seasons though recent favourites have included salmon teriyaki and sirloin Wagyu steak on a Himalayan salt plate - and an indulgent sweet treat, not to mention bottomless Champagne and Sake to make yours a truly special weekend occasion.
