5.02 months agoWagtail rooftop bar has become my go-to destination, and for good reason! I've visited numerous times, and it never fails to impress. From the exquisite food to the impeccable service and unbeatable location, Wagtail truly offers an unforgettable experience. The ambiance is perfect for any occasion. Whether you're seeking an intimate dining experience or a stunning spot to sip cocktails with friends, Wagtail delivers. The views are simply breathtaking—you get a panoramic glimpse of the city, with iconic landmarks like The Shard and Tower Bridge right before your eyes. With the warmer months approaching, I can't wait to enjoy both terraces to their fullest, soaking up the sunshine and savoring the vibrant atmosphere. The live DJs on weekends add an extra layer of excitement, creating the perfect soundtrack for a memorable night. A special shout-out to Frank and his incredible team—their hospitality is second to none. Frank is a true gentleman who ensures every guest feels welcomed and well taken care of. His staff are attentive, friendly, and always go above and beyond to make your visit exceptional. If you're looking for a rooftop gem with fantastic views, delicious cuisine, and outstanding service, Wagtail is the place to be. Highly recommended!

2.02 weeks agoFirstly, the Service was nice, and the drinks were really good, I mean the best margarita I've had in London good. It really set a high bar for the evening. However the food was not good at all. The Ceviche we were served was off, smelled terrible (very fishy smell) and quite frankly i cant believe the "chef" let it leave the kitchen. It was actually a danger to eat. We all felt a bit weird after eating. Anyone who has had ceviche before or sushi before would know it was very wrong. The Tartar also was dry and not seasoned, the meat was not fresh at all. My lobster linguine was also dry, which is interesting considering it was meant to have a lobster bisque sauce, and the pasta was incredibly overcooked, yet cold in the middle. It seemed like it was prepared the day before and microwaved on the night. It was almost inedible. The fillet steak was burnt. The cheeseboard was poor too, the cheese was dry, you can see the discoloration on the corners of the cheese when it gets left out too long, the soft brie was hard in the middle and cold. Seemed like we were given leftovers that they kept too long in the fridge. Basically the overall feel of the night was that everything was not freshly made, or made with fresh ingredients. At the price we paid it should be fresh and delicious. But it was neither. I was very disappointed as I saw good reviews online, so I'm really not sure what has happened to us and why our food was so poor. It seemed like there was actually no chef on that night and it was all prepared previously, and the servers tried their best to make the food. If I were to recommend a dish it would be the chips... On the night I let them know about the off fish, they told me they get fresh fish every morning which I can believe, as that's usually the case in restaurants, but we definitely were not served the fresh fish, if they even had any. I did not however let you know about the other poor food as it was my brother's birthday celebration dinner and i didn't want to ruin the night any further. We are not confrontational people. Not sure what they could have done about it anyway considering the amount that was wrong with many of the dishes. It was quite embarrassing for us as we brought family and friends from across the country to eat here too. What I'm saying is the harsh truth of our night. Please understand I would not usually have gone to these lengths to write feedback, but it really was that poor. If you're looking for an after work drink this is perfect. But not for fine dining.

5.04 months agoWe had the pleasure of dining at Wagtail London and booked one of their incredible igloos for a truly memorable evening. Despite the poor weather, the stunning views of the city skyline from the igloo made the experience unforgettable. The service was outstanding from start to finish. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and well looked after throughout the evening. Their attention to detail and warm hospitality truly stood out. The igloo itself was cozy and beautifully set up, creating a magical atmosphere that made the weather outside irrelevant. The food was tasty , perfectly complementing the unique dining experience. If you’re looking for a special evening in London, I can’t recommend Wagtail’s igloos enough. Rain or shine, they know how to make the experience unforgettable!
