Good Sunday Roast. We both had the large plate with all meats: turkey, gammon, roast pork and beef. The crackling was super crunchy (+salty) and sides were delicious too. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Would be back again. All in all this was good value for money and we were stuffed!

This was my first time at a carvery so it was definitely a novelty! Jill was my waitress and she was such a gem to me and all the tables around me! Luckily I got in just before 6pm so the wait wasn’t too long. However at 6pm the queue for meat was about 13 people long and there was one employee carving. The poor couple next to me was waiting and waiting for it to get shorter due to mobility issues but it just never did! Beef, potatoes, mash and veg were all good! The mac and cheese was super dry and a bit disappointing. Since there was one employee a lot of the veg was empty and needed replenishing but there’s only so much one person can do! I felt for him too. For a roast + 2 drinks I paid £20 so it’s really hard to be too critical! It’s definitely good value and the staff were lovely but some things could definitely be tweaked!
