A bit pricey for what it is, but did taste good. Roast potatoes were phenomenal. Decor quite dated. Staff were helpful and friendly. Would come again for low-key grub.

Often visit this Toby for lunch, usually during the week as we prefer it when less busy. David was so welcoming and let us have a table away from the serving area, at our request. Kyle was very friendly and had a chat with us while carving. Turkey and beef were both tasty. Peas a bit on the crunchy side though. Jasmine was great and made an excellent Irish coffee! We will be back again soon.

Although we come here often with family, this was the worst service we have ever received. The guy welcoming people kept on lifting his shirt scratching his belly. The servers were getting moaned at about the wait and he didn't once step in to take the load of them. The chef carving the meat looked overwhelmed by his workload. He first changed the lamb, served one person ,changed the beef served one person, changed the turkey served one person, sausages ran out,off he went again, then the plates ran out and again off he went. It took roughly 40 minutes for us to get to front of the queue. There was only 8 people in front of us. All while this was happening his fellow chefs were coming out distracting him by doing takeaway orders and even stood doing nothing whilst waiting for him to move. I work in catering and was really upset that they couldn't help him. What on earth has happened to team work. The waitress was nice though
