1.02 months agoJust another Toby average services carvery. The food tastes ok. They are quite constant here. The taste is ok, but the sizes of the slices and the quantity that they cut are really annoying for the price you pay (especially at the weekend). It feels that the guy is trained not to cut a full slice and to cut it as thin as possible .... We ordered drinks that came after we had to remind them 3 times ... so overall, it's not a great experience ... if we starve, we might come back ...

4.0a month agoBecause it's also a hotel upstairs there was a short wait to be seated, however the staff were lovely, very friendly, professional and helpful. The food was delicious, but the Yorkshire pudding was tough and the lamp was dry. The house gravy and Beef stole the show I was blown away, exceptional. I'm a returning customer and I will be returning again happily. Disabled toilets and baby changing toilets, child friendly/ family friendly. Bar at the front arcade games and TV screens. Wheelchair accessible in certain areas of the establishment. You can order a at home delivery, eat in or pick up your order.

5.0a month ago**5 Stars – Service Excellence Worth Shouting About!** I’m currently staying for three nights at the **Toby Carvery Eden Park**, located just opposite Eden Park Station, and tonight – my second night – I had a genuinely outstanding experience that deserves recognition. I want to highlight the exceptional service provided by **Jamie**, who I believe was the night manager. Jamie delivered **10/10 customer service**, showing a level of professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail that’s becoming increasingly rare. He was especially knowledgeable around allergens, making the whole experience smooth, safe, and enjoyable. I run a professional training company (**CentralLearner.com**) specialising in **Net Promoter Score (NPS) training**, **customer service**, **first aid**, and **security sector education**. I’m currently in the middle of delivering training myself – so spotting excellent service in the wild is both a joy and a confirmation of everything we teach. Jamie truly represents the gold standard in hospitality. If I were running a course on “how to create repeat customers,” he’d be the case study. On a personal note, I’ve worked in hospitality for many years and previously collaborated with **Rob Pitcher**, who was formerly Director at Mitchells & Butlers and later CEO at Revolution Bars Group. While Rob is no longer with M&B, I know – having worked with him in many capacities – that he would be **immensely proud** of the service Jamie delivered tonight. To the management at Toby Carvery and Mitchells & Butlers: **you’ve got a star in Jamie**. This is the kind of team member that builds loyalty, drives your NPS through the roof, and keeps people coming back. Highly, highly recommended.
