A lovely local pub by the canal with good atmosphere. The pub food selection is decent, quality on par with most & prices are not bad. Portions are pretty large too. It won’t make a dent on your pocket like some. I particularly like the toffee pudding. My fish batter was a bit thick for my liking, otherwise OK. The pub is a favourite among locals. There is always a happy crowd both inside & out.

Pretty standard Young’s pub overall. However, the location and building is very nice. Hidden away by the canal. The upstairs can be busy, but there is a good amount of seating downstairs. The food is pretty standard for what you would expect. In general, decent and reliable. The service here was great. Super helpful and friendly. This added to the warm and relaxed atmosphere of the place. Would definitely not have any reservations about coming back.

My favourite pub, the place I met my person! I adore sitting on the balcony with a wine or spritz, overlooking the canal and happily chatting away with my company. Staff are friendly!
