The Little Blue Door is your new home away from home – expect comforting Brunch dishes, friendly staff and a chilled-out space to wile away the weekend.
Crash on one of the huge velvet sofas and put up your feet – the mood is one of complete comfort and relaxation, designed to look like a friend’s flat with laps, drawers and potted fronds dotted around.
The roving band of flatmates at the helm of The Little Blue Door have steered the restaurant to infamy, bringing to life their unpretentious house party vision through a rollicking good weekend Brunch. Start off with a breakfast cocktail to get the party started – ‘A Bigger Splash’ is a tangy blend of Martini Bitters, grapefruit, orange and tea. Pick between a cold plate – a cooler, heartier continental breakfast – or upgrade to a hot plate and get an extra dish from the egg station. The menu changes regularly, though it usually includes shakshuka, huevos rancheros and a classic avocado and smoked salmon on toast.
The fun doesn’t stop there, though. Head down on a Sunday for a traditional roast plus all the trimmings for just £16.50 per person. Try to leave room for dessert, as the peanut caramel chocolate fondant is delicious.
Parsons Green Underground is just a short ten-minute walk away.
