The Life Goddess is an unassuming Greek deli, where their Brunch fuses the best of home-cooking and experimental fare.
Their aim is to introduce a new Hellenic kitchen and provide a cosy, comforting space for diners to relax and unwind.
Earthy ingredients and simple, rustic techniques are the cooking philosophies at The Life Goddess. They infuse regional flavours from across the motherland, with fresh vegetables and zucchini ‘Marathopita’ (savoury fennel pancakes) from Crete and giant beans from Prespes in the North West.
The weekend Brunch runs from 10am – 2pm and features classic dishes like Eggs Benedict and Florentine, plus strapatsada, a scrambled egg dish with fresh tomato and crumbled feta.
A range of wonderful pastries are available, too: Kalitsounia is a mouth-watering sweet cheese pie, often served with a drizzle of warm honey and a sprinkle of cinnamon, while bougatsa is a classic breakfast pastry made with semolina custard.
Why not stop by the deli before leaving and pick up some essential items; from legumes and fresh pasta to olives and vinegars, a treasure trove of goods is just waiting to be pored over.
The Carnaby Street location is right in the heart of the city, just a short walk from Goodge Street Underground and Tottenham Court Road.
