First visit here and tried it on a whim. It was only me dining and I arrived at around 12.30pm on a Sunday without a booking. They managed to find me a table. Service was very attentive from the start, and I didn’t feel like I was being rushed at any point. I had the Lamb Roast dinner cooked rare, along with tea and sparkling water. The lamb was cooked as I requested, the potatoes were a little disappointing as I was expecting something more special. Two Yorkshire puddings seemed a little excessive, one would’ve sufficed. The gravy, again a little disappointing, as I was expecting something with more intense flavour. It did seem a little noisy, but I appreciate that I was sat near the entrance and it was a busy time of day. All that said, I would go back to see what different days and times of day are like, and to try some other items on the menu.

Came today and had 3 courses from the Mothers Day menu. Very busy, great service, delicious food and a lovely atmosphere. Had a great time and will return when next in the area.
