Perfect spot for a celebration lunch near Liverpool Street – attentive staff, excellent food, and even allowed us to decorate the table and have our own cake presented beautifully. We visited The Ivy City Garden to celebrate a university graduation, and it didn’t disappoint. I started with the Duck Salad, light yet packed with flavour, followed by The Ivy Steak and Chips with peppercorn sauce, plus Creamed Spinach and Creamed Mashed Potato. Everything was cooked perfectly, presented beautifully, and portion sizes were spot on. Drinks were just as impressive – a Rhubarb Negroni, fresh grapefruit juice, and a pot of coffee with cream to finish. A small slip meant sugar wasn’t offered with the coffee, and there was a brief mix-up with drinks, but staff handled it brilliantly, apologising and removing the items from the bill – a professional touch that left a great impression. The Ivy were also happy to let us add our own sprinkles and personalised cookies to the table for the occasion, and they presented our cake wonderfully (note: outside food can’t be eaten on-site, likely for health reasons). Stylish décor, lively atmosphere, attentive service, and high-quality food make this an ideal celebration spot in central London. Highly recommend and will happily return. #LondonDining #LiverpoolStreetRestaurants #TheIvyExperience

I recently visited The Ivy City Garden and had a lovely experience overall. The atmosphere is beautiful and the service was warm and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious. I had the calamari for my starter and the fillet of fish for my main, and both were cooked perfectly and full of flavour. The only downside was the drinks — while they were nice, I found them quite overpriced, which made the final bill higher than I expected. Apart from that, I can’t fault it. I’d definitely recommend The Ivy City Garden for a special meal, just be mindful that the drinks can add up!

Very luxurious restaurant with a garden view sitting and dining area. Live music with a singer the music was very loud so conversations were hard to hear. Family friendly and plenty of room. Not high on vegetarian options unfortunately but menu was pricey and portions very small. They do have a set menu with timing and dining limitations. Great atmosphere and quieter location. Bus 141 opposite the restaurant goes directly to London Bridge saves on walking over the bridge…
