The pub was very nice and we found the staff to be very friendly. They have Asahi on tap which was quite refreshing. Went there for a Sunday roast, the meat was really good however we found that there was a bit too much cabbage with the roast. I would rate the meat a 5 out of 5 and the veggies a 4 out of 5. If you go here I would recommend getting the Short Rib Burger which tasted amazing. We had to wait for about 5 to 10 minutes to get the a table on a Sunday (around 2:00to 2:30 PM), which wasn't bad at all.

First time in The Florence today, we went for lunch and some drinks. I really enjoyed the fish and chips but the croque monsieur was below average. Still, staff were very friendly, the place was buzzing, full of people and their dogs (there were so many! 🙌🏽) and the beer garden was nice too. Prices a bit steep but I guess in line with the area. And top marks for having Estrella Galicia on tap.

Booked for the Quiz and got a group together. However, 10 minutes after it was due to start we had to ask the staff what was going on and they'd told us it had just been cancelled. This is after we'd already got drinks and the group had arrived. The sign advertising the quiz that night was outside the whole time. Not a great experience really. If a pub advertises a quiz, they should really host it or let people know in advance. Not sure if we'd risk turning up again
