The Book Club is a much-loved all-day hangout that draws in creative crowds and foodies with its unique approach to Brunch.
Lined along Leonard Street in Shoreditch, The Book Club regularly throw arts, crafts and music events and have become a cornerstone of the East End in no small part because of their early morning grub.
Fill up with a substantial fry-up – they take their bacon thick cut – or pig out with prosecco and pancakes. At weekends, their Brunch menu includes a buttermilk fried chicken pancake with smoked bacon and maple syrup, though it’s the ‘Dutch Bouncer Hash’ that takes the cake – fried eggs on sourdough with sliced Wiltshire ham, gouda, pickles, mustard and herbs.
Fresh seafood is supplied by J. Bennett & James Nash & Son of Billingsgate London, with all eggs coming from locally-sourced free-range farms.
The Book Club is ideally located in the buzzing hub of Shoreditch, with Old Street Tube Station and Shoreditch High Street Overground under a 5-minute walk away.
