The iconic Shakespeare Globe Theatre needs no introduction, though its flagship restaurant Swan is a lesser-known gem. Get unbeatable views of the city while dining on a delicious Brunch or Sunday Lunch menu.

Low-slung and cosy, the interior here is as inviting as they come and is steeped in history, with beautiful views of St Paul's Cathedral and other landmarks from the window seats.

Try the buttermilk pancakes with smoked bacon and maple syrup or, if you're more of a savoury fan, Eggs Royale, Benedict and Florentine never fail to satisfy. On a Sunday, try their indulgent roasts, with options such as roast Kentish chicken or Scottish sirloin, cooked to perfection and served with all the trimmings.

Southwark Underground Station is just under five minutes away on foot.

I went to The Swan as a belated Birthday gift and had afternoon tea. I must say, they had a choice of different afternoon teas to choose from, with some options including bottomless tea and sandwiches. But we went for the Cowboy tea, which was mostly savoury and did not disappoint. We were stuffed by the end of it. However, let me say that the Pub itself is really nice, in a great location with amazing views. The staff were super friendly, and our server, TEO, was absolutely lovely. She was so kind and super attentive. We will definitely be back.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at the Swan! And it was all thanks to Maria who provided exceptional service! She walked us through our our tea time experience and answered any questions we had. She was so polite and attentive. We felt right at home and this experience made our first trip to London memorable. Highly recommend this place and ask for Maria

Absolutely amazing afternoon Tea. A trip into London for my wife’s belated 60th birthday. Great service from the professional staff, overseen by an extremely knowledgeable Manager. As you can see from our photos the layout of the facilities and our table over looking the river Thames was great. The presentation, taste and flavours of our afternoon tea with all the extras was sublime. We wanted to stay and finish the whole lot, but, in the end did the sensible thing and got a pack-up to go. Thank you so much guys and keep up the great work. 🤩🌟💙❤️
