Come for the decadent Sunday Lunch, stay for the buzzing atmosphere and wacky live acts.
This sprawling South African restaurant plays host to raucous live performances at night, but the mouth-watering Sunday Lunch takes a back seat for no one. Get three courses, plus your choice of bottomless wine, Bloody Mary or mimosa, for just £49.50 per person and settle in for one of the most unique lunch experiences in the capital.
For the table, a selection of nibbles is available including breads, olives and even crocodile ‘cigars’ (that’s real crocodile, by the way). Next, choose from starters like Shaka smoked salmon, peri peri wings, samosas and ‘bobotie’ spring rolls, lightly cured mince rolls infused with a blend of Cape Malay spices and veggie salsa.
Try the grilled pork T-bone for mains or try a signature crocodile burger for the full Steve Irwin experience. We recommend the hearty roasts, however, for those seeking something more traditional – the roast spatchcock chicken is as tender and flavourful as they come, as is a rare breed sirloin, both of which are served with all the trimmings. Finish with a dark chocolate tart or passion fruit cheesecake.
