Never again. We spent over £700 for a meal for four and I honestly left feeling hungry, disappointed, and completely ripped off. The service was cold and unwelcoming. Not rude, just indifferent. At this price point, that’s unacceptable. The food? Hugely underwhelming. The highly marketed Txuleton steaks (we tried both options) were mostly bone and fat and FLAVOURLESS. For £300, I expected melt in your mouth flavour, quality, and at least enough to share without needing to stop for food afterwards. Sides were tiny, forgettable, and massively overpriced. Nothing we ate justified the bill. And before the restaurant chimes in with their typical response about “ancestral recipes,” “Basque sharing culture,” and “premium ingredients sourced from Basque Country” that’s not an excuse for subpar food, mediocre service, and portion sizes that leave you hungry after spending over £700. Quality ingredients should *elevate* a dish, not be used as a smokescreen for poor execution and inflated prices. This isn’t a restaurant focused on quality, it’s the perfect example of how social media hype can mask mediocre food. Where’s 👏 the 👏flavour👏? All style, no substance.

Visited sagardi for a birthday celebration. The steaks very delicious, possibly one of the best steak’s I’ve eaten. The steaks dont come with anything but personally didn’t think the sides we ordered we necessary. The staff were very knowledgeable and helpful especially when it came to wines with the extensive selection. Very expensive but good quality food. I personally disagree with the concept of service charge, especially when enjoying plenty of wine and having extra percentage charge feels cheeky, but its discretionary but can feel awkward. Despite this, was delicious and i would recommend

Absolutely amazing! The service alone stood out, we went for a cigarette after a massive steak (which was outstanding) and the waiter even asked us if we would like to put the croquetas on hold so they would be hot when we sat down again. Perfection!
