Rotunda is a hidden gem boasting beautiful canal-side views in the heart of King's Cross. A modern British bar, restaurant and private dining room with a large astro-turfed waterside terrace, serving weekend brunch, homemade bar food, expertly-created cocktails, handpicked craft beers, and extensive wines.

Nestled along Regent's Canal, Rotunda boasts a gorgeous waterside terrace with spectacular views across the water. The interior features an open kitchen allowing guests to watch the talented chefs at work. Specialising in seasonality and modern British food, the mouth-watering beef and lamb cuts are sourced exclusively from their own farm in Northumberland.

Every weekend, Rotunda serve an indulgent brunch and show-stopping Sunday Roast. Brunch dishes feature all the classics from a full English to avocado & poached eggs on sourdough. Or alternatively, opt for something a little different such as St Ives market fish with spring greens, or the Corneyside Farm steak of the day.

The Sunday Roasts feature a selection of roasting joints, served with all the trimmings. Rotunda also offer the Sunday Beef Club, including three courses served family style and paired with drinks. Kick off with a Bloody Mary or glass of Champagne, followed by half a bottle of wine. Why not go bottomless, and add 90 minutes of free flowing drinks to any main or roast.

I have had a wonderful experience at Rotunda Bar and Restaurant. Reem our waitress was so welcoming and amenable. She made this experience utterly memorable. I hope to return again in the near future. Well done Rotunda!

I just had Paella at the Rotunda in kings cross. Worst restaurant meal ever. Rubbery muscles, Smelly fish(taste old though was catch of the day), Sour sauce taste all lemon, Under cooked tomato, taste like raw tinned tomato with soggy rice. Lacks taste or any seasoning. I wish I had the courage to complain. Disgusting food!!! Chef needs to be checked. Never eating there again

We visited this location on a midweek night without a reservation. The place was not terribly busy and there was no waiting time to get a table. The staff were very polite, helpful and willing to accommodate us. We were offered a table almost immediately. There is a nice selection of food options for both adults and children. The price range was also quite broad, however far from cheap, which indicated to us that the quality of food would be above average. Sadly we were mistaken. The steak was tough and dry (prepared medium-rare). The chicken breast was dry and way overcooked. The sides were nice and the chunky chips were the absolute highlight. We were not really asked if everything was well till we had finished out meals, at which point we shared our disappointment. This was taken seriously straight away and we received an apology from both the staff and the manager on duty. We were offered free deserts as an apology. This was a very nice gesture, but we would have preferred to have had good food rather than free deserts. All in all, the staff and management do a great job at making sure the guests are well looked after and are happy. It's just a bit of an own goal from the management team that the staff have to go that extra mile to make up for low quality food offered for above average prices. My personal recommendation: come here for good service, decent atmosphere, maybe a nice drink and wonderful views of the canal. But maybe stick to a burger and chips instead of an expensive steak.
