Got recommended this place for a full English breakfast but ended up arriving too late for that. We were still very happy with our meal. We got the truffle mac and cheese, Scottish scallops, and a waffle, all were delicious! I loved how crispy the mac and cheese was.

🌟🌟🌟🌟 4-Star Review for Riding House, Fitzrovia Riding House in Fitzrovia is a great spot for a work lunch—stylish, comfortable, and efficient. The service is friendly and attentive, and we were pleasantly surprised by how quickly the food arrived, making it ideal if you’re on a tight schedule. The standout for me was the chicken bun: buttermilk chicken, Comté, pickled carrots, and gherkin on a perfectly toasted brioche. Juicy, crispy, tangy—every bite hit the mark. Pair it with a side of truffle mac & cheese, which was rich, crispy on top, and deeply satisfying. We also enjoyed their fries—crispy and well-seasoned, served in stylish tin cups. The decor is modern with warm tones and plush seating, adding a bit of laid-back charm to the experience. You can see from the photos that the plating is clean and appealing, and the vibe is buzzy yet relaxed. While everything was solid and enjoyable, it didn’t quite deliver that wow factor needed for a full 5 stars. Still, if you’re looking for a dependable and stylish lunch venue with great food and fast service, this place is definitely worth a visit. ✅ Recommend: Chicken bun & truffle mac & cheese 🕛 Perfect for: Quick, quality work lunches 💬 Would return again—especially with colleagues.
