We visited N 32 restaurant at Clapham Common for the first time today, and even though the place was completely packed, the staff were very kind and managed to find us a spot on the second floor. While the seating arrangement wasn’t perfect, we appreciated their effort to accommodate us. The second floor also has a fireplace, which was lovely given the rainy and cold weather. The food was good—we ordered something similar to an English breakfast. It would have been nice if beans were included, but overall, the quality of the ingredients was very high. The service was attentive and polite, and the prices were reasonable for the Clapham Common area—around £16 per dish and about £4 for non-alcoholic drinks like lattes and English breakfast tea. The restaurant also has a terrace with views of the park, which would be perfect on sunnier days. Overall, I’d recommend giving it a try.

Very odd night. We booked to make the most of the 50% off food on January offer. Despite it being the end of January it seemed to be the first out server had heard of it. We ordered drinks, that he had to return to the table twice to confirm our order. The sea bass wasn't available. One of us was still eating as starter plates were cleared. In contrast mains took ages to be cleared and for us to be able to order more drinks. Looking at the enormous pile of empties at the bar I'm guessing someone had to run a few washes first. Finally at 9 something we were told they'd be bringing our bill as they were closing at 22:30 and not midnight as the website says. The venue was still pretty full at this point, so we were far from the last party in. It seemed like they were really understaffed so we would in no way blame the staff for the chaos that seemed to be happening, but something seemed to have gone very wrong. Based on this experience we all said we wouldn't be visiting again. It was ok value with the food discount but there are too many good options in the area to go back to somewhere this strange. I would happily have done this through the feedback link sent, rather than via the public review, but the feedback site isn't working!

We went for Sunday roast, the food was good but in my opinion the gravy should be thicker. The mixed meat was tasty. The service was good also if the staff where a little slow. Overall 6/10, good price for the value of the food and location.
