Named after 16th century Clarendon Estate owner Christopher Moncks, this all-day brasserie is open for breakfast, brunch, lunch, cocktails and more, making it your one-stop shop for relaxed fine-dining.
Understated elegance signals the work of Fettle Design– orb lighting, plush banquettes, brocade detailing and an art deco feel, reminiscent of grand mittel cafes - the esteemed group behind The Marylebone Hotel refurbishment, who have carved out a soothing, luxurious space in the busy heart of Mayfair.
The menu draws from across the continent, with dishes as likely to herald quintessential British cuisine – think eggs with avocado and Dorset crab and a hearty Full English, though the latter comes with Italian touches like Norcia pork sausage and ‘purgatory’ baked beans - as they are an homage to classical French cooking. We strongly recommend the truffled Benedict with Jerusalem artichoke, along with ‘Eggs en Cocootte – sweet Vesuvian tomatoes, aubergine and organic eggs topped fresh basil.
