Inject some exotic zest in your life at Mommi, a Peruvian-Japanese restaurant with an interior as colourful as its beautiful dishes.
The venue nods to international styles with an eclectic mix of Miami, Venice, South America and Japan in its décor. The artwork adorning the walls come from LA-based fashion photographer Ben Watts, alongside RONE, a Melbourne street artist.
Traditional Brunch dishes are given an international do-over, from a grilled honey crumpet to avo toast with aji panca, pistachio roasted sweet potato wedges and maple syrup drizzle. Other dishes include churrasco steak & eggs with chimichurri glaze and a heaped ‘MOMMI’s Boy’ burger, packed to the brim with Anticucho beef, egg, melted habanero queso fresca and bacon crisp.
Get these a la carte or go for the Bottomless Bubbles deal, whereby you’ll get unlimited house prosecco, nibbles like house-baked popcorn and queso fresco, plus one Brunch dish and a dessert such as chocolate chip brownie or salted dulce de leche quinoa. On Sundays, you can also enjoy their Sunday Roasts as well as Brunch for an extra special feast.
MOMMI also offer a wider range of vegetarian, vegan and dairy-free dishes, so you can rest easy in the knowledge you will be well looked after here.
