Featuring solid Scottish food in huge helpings, Mac & Wild - Fitzrovia brings some Highland heartiness to Brunch.

It’s a family affair at Mac & Wild – owner Andy Waugh sources his amazing meat from the family game-butchery, Ardgay Game – and along with co-owner Calum MacKinnon, it’s this sense of camaraderie and sharing that runs through their restaurants. Due to popularity, they opened second venue (Devonshire Square) mere months after their first one opened in Fitzrovia.

If feasting on ‘wee plates’ while guzzling unlimited Brunch cocktails doesn’t sound like your idea of fun, then you’re not doing it properly – pick from smaller nibbles like tattie tots (vegan) with white bean paste, pink dulse and green chutney, or a venison scotch egg and mustard, before moving on to the main event. A hefty Full Scottish Breakfast comes with bone marrow beans, a homemade tattie scone and a venison sausage. Go full Gaelic with a side order of Haggis mac & cheese.

Head there on a Sunday and get one of their famous Roasts – venison topside with all the trimmings, bone marrow gravy and ‘a Yorkshire pudding the size of yer head’.

Ideally located in the centre of Fitzrovia, it’s just a short walk away to Goodge Street and Tottenham Court Road Stations.
