5.03 weeks agoI stayed here recently on points. This property aligns well with the Hilton brand. It has a nice size lobby to relax in as well as a restaurant open late enough should you need a bite. I'll start by highlighting a friendly staff. Even on London Marathon weekend, they found a way to get us checked in a bit early which was very nice. We got a double bed room and while it was tight, it was in-line with most European hotels. The A/C worked well and it was very clean. The bathroom had one of the half door showers which I never really understand, but also both a rain shower head and washing wand. Water pressure was good too. Finally, even in the tightness, we had a small refrigerator in our room. Location was good - a quick walk to the tube and close enough to walk to a few sites, including the St Paul Cathedral. I really do not go to London often, but could see considering staying here again if I did. Enjoy!

5.0a week agoAs a long-time Marriott hostage, this was my first stay at a Hilton property in over a decade—and I must say, I was pleasantly surprised. The Hotel Whether recently built or thoughtfully renovated, the hotel features a cohesive and stylish interior design throughout. Most importantly, it doesn't have that musky, dated smell you sometimes find in London’s older hotels—refurbished or not. Service Highlights The true standout here is the service, which exceeded expectations on several fronts: Attentiveness & Cleanliness When I arrived, the room was stocked with two standard water glasses. After the housekeeping team noticed a bottle of wine in the fridge, they replaced the glasses with proper wine glasses the next day—an impressive and thoughtful touch. The room was cleaned thoroughly each day with great attention to detail. Breakfast Buffet Far from the underwhelming breakfast buffets often seen in North America, this one was impressive—with made-to-order eggs and a generous spread. Even though my conference provided breakfast, I opted to eat at the hotel every morning instead. Location The hotel is perfectly situated next to St. Paul’s Cathedral, with easy walking access to the West End theatres, the Tate Modern, Globe Theatre, and Borough Market across the river. If you're arriving with luggage, I’d recommend using the Blackfriars station (which has escalators). For daily tube commutes, St. Paul’s station is a bit closer and more convenient. Front Desk Every staff member I interacted with was consistently courteous and helpful. I arrived around noon and was allowed to check in right away. Four days later, they graciously accommodated a 2 PM late check-out. For comparison, Marriott—where I hold Titanium status—has been less flexible with such requests in recent years. Final Thoughts All in all, a very enjoyable stay. Having worked in a 5-star hotel in Geneva during my university days, I know firsthand that delivering this level of consistency and guest satisfaction isn't just luck—it’s the result of strong, detail-oriented management and a team of dedicated professionals. I would absolutely stay at Lost Property St. Paul’s again. Keep up the excellent work!

5.0a month agoThe food is another level, brilliant sized portions, awesome plating and absolutely delicious. We had cornfed chicken and sea bass, the chef sent a surprise dish for us which was aubergine battered! The kids unknowingly gobbled it up! The service was top class, very empathetic, polite and professional. The rooms had a beautiful character to it. Aesthetically pleasing, just the right size with very good sized TV and the BEST MATTRESS of all the hotels we have ever been too! Highly recommend!!
