Dine on a 5 course Indian Brunch every Sunday at Karnavar, an unlimited array of Indian goods including live cooking stations and bottomless roast meats, all for just £25 per person.

The restaurant's namesake, Head Chef Manoj Karnavar, earned his stripes working in 5* star hotels across the globe and brought his international flavours and culinary expertise to Croydon 20 years ago.

Watch their expert chefs rustle up ‘Oothappam’ (an open-faced savoury pancake with fermented rice, black lentils, chilies and coriander), dosa, your choice of eggs and pancakes with coconut chutney, before diving in to the starter table. These dishes include soups, a crayfish and mango salad, dumplings and home-cured sardines with potato.

Beef up with heartier dishes like tikka, pakoras and kebabs their ‘intermediate’ dishes. Main dishes range from lamb, corn-fed chicken, sea bass and the house favourite of roasted pork belly, served Kerala-style with Mappas sauce. Delicious accompaniments – seasonal veggies, rice, naans – are also available, along with classic Indian desserts to end on a sweet note. Try Kinnathapan Malabar, a rice and coconut pudding with lemon sorbet.
