Kahani is a chic restaurant in London who put an Indian spin on the great British tradition of the Sunday Roast.
At just £30 per person you can enjoy three gorgeous courses of Indian cuisine, a banquet fit for a sultan.
Start with tandoori octopus calamari, which comes with a dollop of Kasoondi mustard and aloo pomelo chat (fried and cubed potatoes in spice) or a chutney paneer tikka.
This is followed by a range of tender, decadent meats ranging from a roasted leg of lamb marinated in fennel and star anise to a sirloin kabab that has been chargrilled and drizzled in truffle oil and royal cumin. These delicious roasts are served alongside cumin-roasted potatoes, veggies and paneer Kulcha, a perfect blend between Indian and British cuisine.
Finish with a tandoori-grilled pineapple and coconut yoghurt or peanut butter parfait, a pleasing palate cleanser to end on.
