Went to CUT at 45 Lane for dinner. Steak was cooked well, tasted amazing, and the restaurant looks the part. Clean, upscale, and clearly aiming for fine dining. But the portions were way too small for the price. Steak came alone. No sides, no extras, just meat. It felt lazy. For how much they charge, they should be doing more. Seating was cramped. Not much room to sit across from someone comfortably. That’s not what I expect from a place with this kind of reputation.

The best steakhouse in London, I’ve been to CUTS all over the world and this one has always been the best, we were greeted at the door by a lovely lady, very friendly, we waited in the lobby because we were early a lady brought out popcorn and olives both were tasty. We were then shown to our table by our amazing server Raphael, we ordered our food and it came out very fast, the scallops and the asparagus was amazing, then our steaks came out perfect medium and all of our sides were delicious. Raphael surprised me with a fudge brownie which is not on the menu and he took our two espressos off the bill. Overall 10/10 every time we are in London we make it a thing of coming here. The service makes it so much better than a lot of other places it’s classy and effortless.

Had a Friday night dinner here, just two of us, in late July 2025. Lovely setting, the restaurant is a really nice space to be in. Food was lovely as you would expect. We both had the UK Ribeye, which was cooked really well and some sides. Extensive wine list, we tried the Baron Edmond de Rothschild, Sauvignon Blanc, Rimapere plot 101, Marlborough, which was absolutely lovely. Good service as well, great bread, all good. Be aware its not cheap and you will pay a high price though. Plus they add service charge, then ask you to add a Tip, which I did not like.
