Blacklock was born from a love of the traditional Chophouse. Drop by for chops, cocktails, wine on tap and of course a formidable Sunday Lunch.

Prioritising quality meaty goodness, Blacklock’s meat is sourced exclusively from small farms in Cornwall owned by award winning butchers, the Warren Family.

Sunday Lunch is the perfect opportunity to get around a table with friends and family and regale each other with the week's goings-on. Many claim to have the best, but at Blacklock they know no roast will ever beat the nostalgic feast Mums dish out up and down the land each week.

However, they do their best to get as close to that comforting feast, safe in the knowledge that it will only ever be almost as good as Mum's. The Roast menu is only available on Sundays with delicious chops and steaks (and plenty in-between) served throughout the week.

Blacklock is located under the railway tracks on Frobisher’s Passage on Canary Wharf’s North Dock with fantastic transport links from Canary Wharf station via the Elizabeth Line, Jubilee Line and DLR.

    Some of the best steak around! Great atmosphere, brilliant service and amazing selection of steak. Cooked exactly to your liking. We had the prime rib 800grams - exceptionally tender, cooked to perfection. The lamb ribs starters just melted of the bone. Bone marrow and peppercorn sauce was just beautiful. Apple crumble desert perfectly rounded of the meal. Great drinks selection! Try and book in advance as it gets busy. We waited for a table at the bar, the hosts are super welcoming. Must visit if you love steak! Can't fault them at all.

    This is the third time I have been to Black lock, and wow this time was the best. Definitely my go to place for steak in the future. I liked the Prime Ribs today more than when I went to Goodmans and Hawks Moor. The service we got from Chris, was just sublime. Our first steak came out overcook and he handled it in such a way I was floored. It's the kind of service I usually associate with "5 star restaurants at their best." Chris's service was so outstanding, we felt we should go above the service charge and pay another tip just to show how stunned we were. Loved their crayfish starter, and their Cull Yaw Ribs we ordered looked very soft juicy. Love their salads as well. Naturally the prime rib steak and the peppercorn and bone marrow gravy was just glorious. I am usually a very picky eater and I'm picky about service as well. Yet tonight, was a 5 star in every regard. Blacklock has now moved up into one of my top favorites in London.

    Very good prime rib that we ordered at Blacklock, Canary Wharf area. They also have many kind of stakes and side dishes to match your taste. Wines and drinks are also excellent. However, their cheesecake is remarkable. Don't miss that.
