Dishes include classics with a European twist, such as the Bellanger BLT on rosemary focaccia, Eggs Basquaise with a chorizo, tomato & red pepper ragout and Chicken & Bacon Sandwich on ‘pain rustique’, along with Buttermilk Pancakes with seasonal berries & cream and an all-day eggs selection.

Bellanger is located on Islington Green approximately a 6-minute walk from Angel tube station.

    Everything about this place is beautiful. From the greeting to the decor and the ambience music, you feel like you just enter a French cafe with jazzy background vibes! The food was fresh and tasty, the service spot on and they are dog friendly (in the bar area)- they even fo homemade dog cookies. Will definitely come back!

    Starter: Jersey Rock Oyster Main: Lamb Gigot Steak 🥩✨ Dessert: Crème Brûlée I really enjoyed the incredibly fresh oysters, followed by my favorite Lamb Gigot Steak, which was very tender and flavorful. It was perfectly paired with ratatouille and confit garlic—a great combination. To top it all off, the smooth and scrumptious crème brûlée was the ideal way to end the meal. The attentive service made the experience even more special. I had a wonderful time here and would highly recommend it!

    One of my couples held their reception here and I cannot say enough how wonderful it was! The private room and the ambience was excellent, and the staff were so accommodating and well mannered. The food was some of the best I had for weddings. Their cheesecake was the very best cheesecake I ever had. They cleared the room really efficiently to be the dance floor. with the way the mirrors are laid out in the room and how the room is lit, this place brings such a luxury feel to your evening.
