Stopped by for a quick lunch and got drawn in by the 2 course lunch deal. Had the fried courgette, it was ok, but not particularly interesting. The main was a salad which was much more interesting with lots of flavour. It was very quiet at lunchtime, so I'm gonna assume it's more of a dinner venue. Both dishes were vegan options.

We went in to Fabio’s for their soft re launch before the official opening. They had some tasty snacks to try. Met Fabio who gave us a free beer too. As my wife is Spanish with a little Portuguese, I really liked the menu over The Beach House that it was before. Prices looked good too. We will definitely go in for a meal when it fully opens.

Let me start by saying I wanted to love this so much. As a local resident for a long time, I cry out for decent restaurants on the door step. However it’s just so hard when, despite the rebrand, it remains poor. We booked a table for 630pm and from the moment we arrived we were rushed. We were told the kitchen shut at 7 and we had to order quickly. My two boys had chicken burgers and said they were pretty good but the seafood risotto was awful. We also had a kids burger, which looked like it came as part of three courses, but nothing else was offered. The service was dire - curt and abrasive ; certainly no welcoming atmosphere. Only one other table of two so definitely not rushed off their feet. Sadly we won’t be returning.
