Bala Baya brings the vibrant food culture of Tel Aviv to London.

Inspired by the architecture of Tel Aviv, the interior of Bala Baya is a sight to behold, featuring clean curved lines reminscent of Bauhaus buildings and a geometric wall made of breeze blocks imported straight from Israel.

The Brunch menu is a creative, Middle Eastern take on familiar classics- such as the Blackberry Pitta French Toast, served with delectable banana tempura, maple syrup and chocolate brittle. Opt for the Bottomless Brunch to make the most of the extensive menu.

The Roast is also not to be missed.  The humble Sunday dinner is also available on Saturdays and is reimagined as the Shank Deluxe- a luscious lamb shank dressed with a artichoke & confit garlic puree, fresh marjoram, tomato crisps and coffee infused tomato jam. There’s also a Vegan and a Fish option- good thing the Roast is Bottomless too.

Bala Baya transports you to Tel Aviv within seconds- from the decor, to the jolly staff to all the mezze platters. For those that like their mezze, you'll be pleased to know the restaurant lets you order for an unlimited amount of mezze for just £8 pp as an add on to any brunch dishes! Of the brunch dishes, I love the blueberry french toast and the shakshuka. Cocktails are strong, so beware of those!
