Apothecary East is an independent restaurant and bar housed in an iconic building in East London. The name is a nod to the history of the building, originally a Victorian dispensary, where they now offer their unique Bottomless Highball Brunch experience.
The venue combines a vibrant cocktail bar with an elegant dining room, serving innovative Japanese umami packed small plates for lunch, brunch, dinner and drinks. The menus at Apothecary East showcase contemporary Japanese dishes, that are progressive whilst also respectful to traditional flavours, ingredients and cooking techniques.
Every Saturday, Apothecary East offer their Highball Brunch. Begin with a Mimosa or Sake bomb on arrival and enjoy snacks and sushi rolls to share, followed by a trio of small plates. Enjoy the dishes with a side per person, and finish off with a delicious sweet treat. Guests can choose to order highballs individually, or upgrade to include bottomless highball cocktails.
Situated just off Great Eastern Street, Apothecary East is centrally located and close to many public transport links, including Old Street, Liverpool Street, and Shoreditch High Street.
