I went to Soul Sunday at Albie Hoxton, and overall, it was a good experience. The atmosphere was lively and busy, which was nice to see, and the team was helpful and friendly throughout. The menu had a few options to choose from — lamb sharing platter, veggie, oxtail, and chicken. I went for the oxtail, which was tasty, especially the cornbread on the side, though I did find the portion a bit small. Unfortunately, they had run out of mac and cheese, which was a bit disappointing. For dessert, I had the peach cobbler. It was nice and not overly sweet, which I liked. All in all, the food was enjoyable, the staff were great, and the vibe was buzzing. I'd go back, but I’d hope for bigger portions and for them to have all the sides available next time!

Love popping by to Albie for my morning coffee before work. Ryo is my go-to barista and always serves the perfect latte - delicious, temperature and gorgeously foamy. He provides excellent customer service and always remembers my go-to order! Couldn’t recommend more!

Wow I hate leaving this review. I love trying new places and leaving words of hope but gosh. I went there with high hopes of gluten free brunch and when I got there, breakfast WAS available. However while I was the only person there it took over 20 minutes to get anyone to even greet me although several people looked at me and gestured at what seemed to be the only person capable of taking orders. And when he finally did come over he seemed to hate the fact that I was there. I ordered chai, eggs Benedict and a still water. It felt like they were doing their best to charge me the most possible. Even though I was by myself, the server brought out the biggest still water bottle at £4 while the person next to me with a different server was later brought a smaller bottle. The eggs Benedict was made gluten free which I appreciated but there was an abundance of some kind of bbq jam which overpowered the taste of everything else although the ham was flavorless. The chai was around £6 and less than 6oz. So overall not the best experience.
