A stone’s throw away from Covent Garden lies Neal’s Courtyard, a treasure trove of independent businesses with a vibrant atmosphere and colourful ‘Secret Garden’ aesthetic. It’s also the home of 26 Grains, famed for its tasty Brunch menu.

The recent trend for sourcing ‘ancient grains’ shows no signs of abating and 26 grains are at the forefront, with a number of dishes using rye as the building blocks: eggs benedict gets a facelift in the form of hot smoked salmon and kale on sourdough rye and one of their more popular sweet snacks is buckwheat banana bread, ideal for gluten free and dairy free diners.

The success of their cookbook of the same name is a testament to their cooking prowess and was selected as Book of the Year 2016 in the Daily Telegraph.
