Tucked away just off Liverpool's thriving Bold Street, Lucha Libre is a laidback cantina serving hearty Brunch dishes infused with Mexican spirit and flavour.

It’d be easy to pass this unassuming café, but it’s quickly gained a reputation amongst locals for its amazing Mexican food (much of which is actually imported from Mexico, along with locally-sourced produce). With an eye on the streets of Guadalajara they have brought an eccentric and exciting menu to the Mersey.

Why not try their ‘Pastor Benedict’, which includes a maple pork belly and poached egg with hollandaise on a toasted English muffin or tuck into delicious Huevos rancheros, Mexican scrambled eggs with chipotle salsa. Those with a sweet tooth can enjoy their churros with streaky bacon.

The stark wooden walls are splashed with street art and graffiti to mesh with the pop-up feel, plus lanterns and exposed lightbulbs are strung up around the restaurant, basking it in an inviting glow and heralded the perfect spot to enjoy Brunch.

On Sundays, you can even enjoy Bottomless Mimosa's or Bloody Mary's for an extra £15 each. Win!
