Came for drinks. Got a mango IPA (440ml) and a vodka soda lime - cost £13. Nice friendly staff, had to order at bar as no one came to our table. Staff were very attentive after we ordered drinks. Nice views when sat outside - heaters are available. Lots of smokers outside (not for long thanks Keir), so if you’re not a smoker hold your breath. Booked online but was told to sit anywhere when we arrived.

Sunday afternoon tea at Sky Lounge was a lovely experience with my OH, which we'd booked through buyagift. Booking was easy by phone and we were sent a text reminder the day before to confirm our booking. Had a beautiful window seat and service was friendly and efficient. Our finger sandwiches were excellent and probably the highlight of the afternoon tea. The Mango and passionfruit torte & the White chocolate raspberry delice were sublime. However the Mini chocolate fudge cake and Clementine tartlet were slightly stale and tasted like something from a poor supermarket bakery. The scones also didn't seem fresh and were heavy and brick like, rather than light and fluffy. They were saved by the Bonne Maman strawberry jam and the clotted cream. Great views and a chilled vibe. Would definitely consider coming back. Although as the sweet offerings were a bit of a mixed bag, we both agreed that a savoury only afternoon tea might work better, with a greater selection of delicious sandwiches or other additional savoury items instead.

Lovely afternoon tea! We opted for the classic afternoon tea at £24.95 per person with unlimited tea or coffee and we were offered a good range of options for both. Cocktails, prosecco or champagne can also be added to the afternoon tea package for an additional cost. The food was lovely, we particularly enjoyed the sandwiches, which had a lovely selection of fillings. Service was friendly and efficient and we were kept well topped up with tea and coffee throughout. The restaurant is on the 13th floor and normally has great views of the city. Sadly it was a rainy day for our visit so unfortunately we couldn't properly appreciate the view but thoroughly enjoyed the experience anyway.
