Tucked away on the cobbled streets of The Calls is Shears Yard, the ultimate Brunch and Sunday Lunch destination for a foodie in Leeds.

A building with a history, the minimalistic Shear's Yard restaurant retains an industrial edge. With a focus on modern British food, Shears Yard has quickly gained a reputation as the foodie's choice in Leeds.

Shears Yard keep things interesting by changing the Brunch menu each week, but they always combine classic Brunch dishes with more left-field choices. If you've tried the Full English in every incarnation, try the brown crab risotto with cockles, shrimps & capers, or Croque Madame to treat your taste buds to something different.

Shears Yard like to do Bottomless Brunch differently, thanks to their number of different drinks offerings in their 90-minute free-flowing deal, including Prosecco, tasty cocktails and beer. Expect your glass to be regularly topped up!

But enough waffling on about the Brunch menu - the Sunday Lunch is not to be missed. Finish off the week properly with a delicious roast with all of the trimmings. Whether you go for the 12 hour roasted Sykes farm beef sirloin or the pan-fried sea bass., you will be glad you let Shears Yard do all of the work.

Situated on Wharf Street, Shears Yard is located in Leeds city centre in the bustling Calls.

I don't think I fit into this place ( age 75+) but the young people around me seem to love it. It's very noisy, staff are running round trying to cope wit the crowds and I had to send a dish back because it was not well cooked. They have unusual things on the menu but when you come to choose you realise that nothing really appeals. I have tried it twice but reluctant to go again.
